Mno-Bmadsen Photo Contest

Mno-Bmadsen is looking for photos to feature in the Mno-Bmadsen 2024 Annual Report and/or other digital media. Eligible photographers include Pokagon citizens, spouses, and legal guardians of Pokagon children.

Photos should depict:

1. landscapes
2. flora and fauna (plants and animals)
3. bodies of water
4. other traditional/cultural art forms (beadwork and baskets).

Guidelines

• Photos must be photographers own, original work.

• Photos must not include the likeness of anyone that hasn’t given written permission to the photographer signed by the person in the photo. (Written permission must be attached with submission email)

• Photos submitted will be featured in the Mno-Bmadsen 2024 Annual Report and/or other digital media (i.e. – website posting).

• Photos should depict landscapes, flora and fauna, bodies of water, and traditional/cultural art forms.

Entering

• Submit photos via email to micky.martin@mno-bmadsen.com by Friday, Feb 7, 2025.

• Submissions must include the photographer’s name and daytime phone number.

• If photographer is under the age of 18, please include the age of the photographer and a parent or guardian’s contact information with permission to enter.

• Photos should be at least 3000 x 2000 pixels @ 300 dpi.

• Winning photos will be featured in the Mno-Bmadsen 2024 Annual Report and other digital media.

• Winners will be awarded checks following winner announcements.

• Each winning submission will be awarded $100.  

• A single photo will be selected for the cover of the Annual Report. This photo will be considered the Grand Prize Winner. The photographer submitting the Grand Prize Winner will receive $500.

Photographer Rights

Each photographer retains the rights to any photographs submitted other than those rights licensed in the next sentence. By entering the Mno-Bmadsen 2024 Photo Contest, you hereby grant Mno-Bmadsen the right to display the photographs you submit to Mno-Bmadsen for the Mno-Bmadsen 2024 Annual Report and digital media. All photographs used will be credited with the photographer’s name.
