WBK is pleased to announce that Survey Practice Lead Donald Rericka has completed the Certified Federal Surveyors Program and has earned the CFedS certification. Mr. Rericka is one of only three surveyors located in the State of Illinois with a current CFedS certification.
WBK is pleased to announce that John Peradotti, PE, SE, has joined their Transportation Group as a Senior Structural Engineer. Peradotti brings experience and a proven track record of success in the structural engineering area, which will be invaluable in meeting the departmental goals and objectives. His experience includes work on Illinois Department of Transportation and Illinois State Highway Tollway Authority bridges as well as local bridge projects.
WBK Engineering, LLC has been awarded a contract by the City of St. Charles, Illinois to study the feasibility of modifications to the Fox River dam in the heart of its downtown business district. This contract builds on WBK’s prior participation and success in developing the Fox River Corridor Master Plan. That plan, completed in 2015, presented a broad vision for enhancement of the Fox River as a natural and an economic resource with an overarching goal to transform downtown St.
The Busse Woods Reservoir – South Dam Modification Project has been named Outstanding Civil Engineering Achievement Award in the $10 million or less category by the Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
Monica Crinion has been selected by the Illinois Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) to receive the Young Civil Engineer of the Year Award.
The Kane County Division of Transportation (KDOT) has named WBK Engineering, LLC the 2015 Phase I / II Consultant of the Year. This is the inaugural year for this award. It was based in part on the successful implementation of the Walker Road over Burlington Creek and Jericho Road over Blackberry Creek Bridge Replacement projects, as well as getting the Allen Road over Hampshire Creek Bridge Replacement project to construction.
