WBK’s Donald Rericka Earns Federal Surveyor Certification
WBK is pleased to announce that Survey Practice Lead Donald Rericka has completed the Certified Federal Surveyors Program and has earned the CFedS certification. Mr. Rericka is one of only three surveyors located in the State of Illinois with a current CFedS certification.
According to the CFedS website, the Certified Federal Surveyors Program is co-administered by the United States Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Land Management and the National Society of Professional Surveyors (NSPS) and provides extensive training for Professional Land Surveyors in dealing with federal survey processes. This certification qualifies licensed and certified surveyors to perform work on or near federal interest lands.
“The addition of the Don’s CFedS status will position WBK to provide survey services on federal land, including Indian native lands,” notes John Wills, President of WBK. “As a member of the tribally owned Mno-Bmadsen family, we hope to work, under the guidance of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, to serve Tribes’ needs in the Midwest and possibly nationwide.”
