Business Development Coordinator
Mno-Bmadsen is the investment enterprise of the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi Indians, headquartered in Dowagiac, Michigan. We seek an energetic, results-driven employee to serve as our Business Development Coordinator (“Coordinator”).

This past year at the request of our CEO, our team of company presidents outlined recommendations for a new and robust business development strategy to meet the goals of improving customer relationships, obtaining new customers, increasing sales, and identifying new opportunities to grow our family of companies. This team became the CEO’s Business Development Committee (“Committee”), charged with overseeing the development and execution of strategy to accomplish our business development goals. The Committee decided to hire a Coordinator to assist with strategy development and execution.
A unique advantage of Mno-Bmadsen stems from its tribal status. Being wholly owned by the Pokagon Band of Potawatomi, Mno-Bmadsen has all the rights and privileges of the tribe to conduct non-gaming business. As such, Mno-Bmadsen is able to obtain certain federal, state and corporate contracting opportunities for minority and Native American companies. The Coordinator will be an expert at effectively utilizing our sovereign advantages; and will leverage them into opportunities to generate sales and long-term opportunities for the growth and profitability of the Mno-Bmadsen Family of Companies.
The Coordinator will be the center of information for the Business Development Committee. This includes capturing data in a uniform, manageable and useable manner for the Business Development Committee. This information will include potential sales, new customers, partnership opportunities and other information. It also includes synergies across the offerings of our family of companies. The Coordinator will support all phases of the prospect engagement process from identifying leads, assisting in preparing proposals, and providing research and actionable intelligence so the companies may secure sales.
The person selected to join our team: must be a passionate, energetic, tactical thinker, with a history of sales results; will have a positive demeanor, capable of addressing problems in a balanced and thoughtful manner, keeping the business development strategy in focus while seeking to support others involved in sales and customer relationships; will be an excellent communicator and able to take multiple sources of information and connect them into meaningful data as a tool to seek new sales opportunities and improve outcomes; will be an excellent writer, editor and presenter of proposals and marketing collateral; and will meet or exceed sales metrics.
